Rube-Goldberg Puzzler “Rube Works" Now Available for iPad and iPhone
Put Your Thinking Caps On in the new Goldberg family authorized title for iOS
San Francisco – November 13th, 2013 - Prepare to flex your puzzle-solving powers today, as Unity Games and Electric Eggplant are pleased to announce that the iOS version for iPad and iPhone of ‘Rube Works: The Official Rube Goldberg Invention Game’, the first officially licensed Rube Goldberg-themed puzzler, now available on the App Store for just $2.99, €2.69, £1.99, AU$2.99.

Based on the comically complex machines imagined by American Pulitzer Prize winning cartoonist, humorist and inventor, Rube Goldberg, ‘Rube Works’ challenges players to complete everyday tasks in traditional Rube Goldberg style by connecting familiar objects and animals to build a comical chain reaction machine.

"We’re delighted that Rube Works will be Unity Games' first release on iPhone and iPad,” said Oren Tversky, VP of Unity Games. “We love how the game has captured Rube’s style and humor in a way that will delight Rube's fans, while challenging puzzle fanatics to flex their creative muscles."
Rube Works is the first officially licensed game to be based upon the inventions of Rube Goldberg, the award winning artist known for creating elaborate solutions to everyday problems and combines the puzzle genre with slapstick humor and creative problem solving. Imagine the goal is to carve a turkey -- and you have a penguin, a bucket, a rooster, a box of sand, a sea sponge, a seesaw and an ice cream maker to complete the task. Then imagine connecting these objects together with string and pulleys along with the laws of gravity and cartoon physics to create a Rube Goldberg machine and proceed to the next level.
