Chapter 13 Brings New Seizing Island Legion Fights to Pockie Pirates
NGames' One Piece MMORPG opens the flood gates to port ownership and intense legion fights

NGames, a leading online games publisher and operator of the portal, has today detailed the exciting new weekly Seizing Island Legion Fight mode for award-winning One Piece-inspired MMORPG, Pockie Pirates.

Introduced in the new Chapter 13 update, Legion Fights begin at 20:30 (UTC -6) every Friday and throw pirates into epic battles to control the Grand Line's trade ports. Featuring explosive ship vs. ship dog fights and intense sword-to-sword battles on deck, seizing and defending ports is no small task – but the rewards are vast!

Owning ports can be massively important for Legion growth. The busier the port, the higher the income for the pirates who control it. Successful legions gain access to a multitude of new sailing technology when seizing ports, from advanced cannons to seriously boost a warship's attacking power, to new steel, ballistic upgrades and increased capacity for cargo and food storage. Legions have access to a private military fund to spend on battles and technology upgrades too. Every player can donate daily to their legion's fund, and a daily cut of the silver earned from port trades can also be added to the pot.

Registration for Seizing Island Legion Fights opens every Thursday 00:00 (UTC -6) until Friday 08:00am, allowing Legion leaders and deputies to set their sights on any open port. Ports are up for grabs in every harbour across the Grand Line, but only 5 legions can occupy any one harbour at a time. If pirates want the advantages of a busy port, they'll have to take it by force!

Popularity determines a port's structural defenses, so captains should pick their targets wisely. A port with a high level of investment and commercial interest can afford the best protection gold coins can buy. The busiest ports are also likely to be owned by the strongest pirates and players. Nothing is impenetrable for a plucky Pockie pirate though!

Determined legion leaders fighting to seize and defend ports can succeed with a keen eye for tactics. Organising crew members into effective formations for both ship and on-deck battles is a must before a legion fight takes place.

If the attacking legion manages to overcome the defending legion, the port is seized and control becomes theirs. Multiple attackers are likely to target a single port; in this case, the legion who made the biggest contribution to the battle and earned the most Occupation points will claim ownership. Maybe a treaty can be signed between allies? Or the winners could just take everything for themselves. Ahh, there's nothing like some Pockie Pirate style Grand Line politics.
