Magic the Gathering: Commander Series (2013) Mind Seize Deck (MTG)
The COMMANDER series is a new variation on the 2011 Commander series for multi-player Magic the Gathering games.
There are 5 new, totally different decks (though as far as I can ascertain each like box contains the same cards). As with the
2011 Commander decks there are 100 cards (99 plus a Commander) There are also 3 Over-size cards with each deck that can
be used in place of the Wedge Commandercards that are also included in the set.
I have the MIND SEIZE set which is a powerful Blue, Black and red combination. The card list for this set is:

The Commander series uses the Wedge
The 2011 Commander series decks were in wider packs. These decks are:
Heavenly Inferno - (white/black/red) Commander Kaalia of the Vast. Angels, Demons, and Dragons. Legendary creatures are Tariel, Reckoner of Souls and Basandra, Battle Seraph.
Mirror Mastery - (blue/red/green) Commander Riku of Two Reflections. Mana devourer deck. Legendary creatures are Animar, Soul of Elements and Edric, Spymaster of Trest.
Counterpunch - (black/green/white) Commander Ghave, Guru of Spores. Dual themed deck. (+1/+1 counters). Legendary creatures are Karador, Ghost Chieftain and Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter.
Political Puppets - (red/white/blue) Commander Zedruu the Greathearted. Deck gains life and cards and good will. Legendary creatures are Ruhan of the Fomori and Nin, the Pain Artist.
Devour for Power - (green/blue/black) Commander The Mimeoplasm. Fills graveyards with creatures to power up The Mimeoplasm and other cards. Legendary creatures are Damia, Sage of Stone and Skullbriar, the Walking Grave
Collector's Note: Heavenly Inferno is regularly priced at twice the price of the other 4 decks in this series. Because WotC are producing a lot of Limited Edition sets at the moment, most shops are cashing in on this and not selling at the recommended retail price. This is proliferating the MtG Black Market. However one cannot I suppose blame the shops for cashing in now when unregistered non-tax-paying online and event going dealers have been doing it for years. It does hurt the players that actually want the cards to play with.
Inbetween the 2 sets of 5 Commander decks WotC released a special 2012 set of cards: The Commander's Arsenal: This set contained 18 premium foil cards (some new to foil and some with new art). In this special release there are 10 oversized foil cards 120 Ultra Pro sleeves 20 double-sided Battle Marks and a Life Counter (0-99). The chances of finding these anywhere except online is now quite rare (for "rare" read "almost impossible").
The oversized Commanders are:
Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund
Mayael the Anima
Zur the Enchanter
Glissa, the Traitor
Godo, Bandit Warlord
Azusa, Lost but Seeking
Karn, Silver Golem
The Regular Cards are
Diaochan, Artful Beauty
Decree of Pain
Edric, Spymaster of Trest
Kaalia of the Vast
Vela the Night-Clad
From the WotC website: Collector's Highlights:
Magic: The Gathering Commander consists of two series of five 100-card decks. To continue the tradition of oversized cards associated with our multiplayer releases, each deck will also include three premium oversized legendary commander cards that can be used in lieu of the normal versions of the cards (which are also in the deck). The 51 new cards will be legal in Eternal formats (that's Vintage and Legacy), but they will not be legal in Standard, Extended, or Block Constructed Tournaments.
The Magic: The Gathering Commander decks will each be three "wedge" colors with corresponding new commanders. "Wedge" is a term we use for three-color combinations consisting of an allied pair and their shared enemy. Examples of famous "wedge" cards are Lightning Angel (
