It's all out Warfare as the strategy/RPG/sim MMO introduces the Black Market and the mysterious Dark Alliance
NGames, a leading online games publisher, is today excited to announce the introduction of the mysterious Dark Alliance and a random Black Market event to the open beta of strategy/RPG/simulation MMO, Warfare.
A free-to-play strategy/RPG/simulation web game currently in open beta on the Game321.com portal, Warfare plunges players deep into the heart of war and challenges them to use team-based tactics and strategy to survive. Managing armed forces, developing a mini-country through city-building, challenging other players, teaming up with real and fictional heroes, and defeating the nefarious Dark Alliance is all in a day's work when it's all out Warfare!
Following the popular beta launch on December 10th, NGames has today introduced two new events to Warfare – The Black Market, and the exciting Dark Alliance Attack.
The Black Market
A new random event, the Black Market will appear randomly in-game and remain for 7 days, giving Warfare players a week to take advantage of some incredible deals before it disappears again. Players can find just about everything they need in at the Black Market, from normal everyday items to rare Generals ripe for recruitment.
The Black Market is a free player's haven, as some items that normally cost gold (and must be bought with real money) can be bought with coupons and silver instead – both currencies that are rewarded in-game for free. Keep an eye out for items like valuable Cast Iron for increased troop enhancement, which can often be found for small amounts of silver in the Black Market instead of the usual 5 gold coins at the shop.
Players with gold to spend will find added value galore while scouring the Black Market shelves, with extra offers on rare items, gems and Generals.
The Black Market holds a special sale everyday, so players should keep their eyes peeled whenever it's around. The Black Market will always be available for 7 days at the start of each new server before disappearing and appearing randomly again.
Dark Alliance Attack
The Dark Alliance Attack is an exciting event that takes place for 7 days immediately after a new server is opened. Here, the mysterious NPC evil-doers plan their first attack, and their sights are set on every player's base!
The shadow-y Dark Alliance figures hang out near bases for 7 full days, biding their time while players prepare a worthy challenge. Nobody knows of the Dark Alliance's abilities yet and details are scarce on exactly what happens when the 7 day countdown reaches zero. However, we do know that players will be given a few days to successfully repel the surprising attack, and will win some nice rewards if they succeed.
Dark Alliance Attack is all about introducing players to the Warfare game world, so nothing bad happens if they don't defeat them. Players may also modify the threat they encounter by choosing from 3 difficulty levels: easy, medium, and hard.
Warfare is an exciting new strategy/RPG/simulation currently in open beta on the Game321.com portal. Players wishing to start the war on an equal playing field can register now and team up with legendary figures both real and fiction, from James Bond to Margaret Thatcher!
All player data will be wiped when the beta ends (Monday, December 16th, 2013 at 7:30 PM (GMT-6)) in preparation for Warfare's full release on Monday, December 16th, 2013 at 8:30 PM (GMT-6).

Warfare Open Beta Date & New Gameplay Details Revealed
NGames drops a bomb of new information for the anticipated free-to-play strategy/RPG/simulation MMO
NGames, a leading online games publisher, is today thrilled to announce that the beta for anticipated strategy/RPG/simulation MMO, Warfare will be marching to battle next Tuesday, December 10th, 2013 at 8:00pm (GMT -6).
A free-to-play strategy/RPG/simulation web game entering beta soon on the Game321.com online games platform, Warfare plunges players deep into the heart of war and challenges them to use team-based tactics and strategy to survive. Managing armed forces, developing a mini-country through city-building, challenging other players, and defeating the nefarious Dark Alliance is all in a day's work when it's all out Warfare!
Warfare takes place in the near future, immediately after Earth was ravaged by the destructive Third World War – a conflict that literally changed the face of the planet. The four powerhouse countries: America, Russia, Germany, and China; remain intact and still rule the world, and are constantly at war with one another for global dominance.
Players begin on their own island, isolated from the throws of war after a man-made tsunami wrecked the planet during WWIII. But, after being attacked by the mysterious Dark Alliance, they become part of the conflict once again and are asked to join one of the 4 major nations.
China: The Chinese successfully survived the tsunami by moving to the Himalayas. They announced the establishment of the new China on December 22nd, 2012, making them the first country of the new world.
Russia: The Russians developed and migrated on the spacecraft Soyuz to avoid the tsunami. On January 3rd, 2013, Soyuz successfully landed in the Ural mountains, with Russia starting its new history.
America: The Americans first predicted the date of the tsunami, giving them time to punch holes in the mountains of Alaska to preserve their entire civilization. The reborn nation was established on December 25th, 2012.
Germany: The Germans survived the tsunami by building the largest refuge warship in history, Noah's Ark. They floated towards and settled on Greenland's icy-snow plateau on January 5th, 2013.
Each nation comes with different gameplay bonuses, such as easier access to resources or better firepower, along with special bonuses that are dependent on the nation's overall population. Choosing to join a less populated area may see players regularly rewarded with extra silver coins and coupons for their bravery.
Warfare features a tactical, highly dynamic battle system that lets players choose between one of three specialities: Ground, Navy, or Air Forces. The system is balanced like rock/paper/scissors, with ground forces at their best against navy; navy dominant against air; and air forces raining death from above on ground forces.
Players can switch between the three military disciplines at any time, so there is no need to choose if variety is preferred. However, bonuses gained through levelling do not crossover from one set of troops to the next, so dedicating time to a specific military type is recommended for maximum benefit.
Warfare is heading into open beta on Tuesday, December 10th, 2013 at 8:00PM (GMT-6).
