About Marvel Heroes
Marvel Heroes is created by David Brevik, the visionary behind Diablo and Diablo II, set in the expansive Marvel Universe. Featuring an original storyline created by Marvel super-scribe Brian Michael Bendis, players collect and play as iconic Marvel Super Heroes, including Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine, Hulk, Spider-Man, Captain America and many more. Players will be able to suit up as their favorite heroes in Spring 2013 to battle notorious Marvel Super Villains (Magneto, Doctor Octopus, Madame Hydra, the Kingpin and more) en route to stopping Doctor Doom from destroying the world with the power of the Cosmic Cube.

Having been a TV Show, Card Game, Board Game and Video Game Marvel Super Hero Squad is now a fully fledged, free to play, online PC game.

Welcome to Super Hero City !  Here you can find, and be, any of the most amazing super heroes ever to be created by Marvel Comics. Of course you can, and it’s more fun if you do, create your own super hero, basing him or her on one of the famous heroes but with your choice of name - step aside Cyclops and say hello to my personal hero, Poisonous Mighty Baby.

As an Agent for S.H.I.E.L.D. (originally created by Stan Lee & Jack Kirby as Supreme Headquarters International Espionage Law Enforcement Division - but changed in the early 90s to Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logisitics Directive - so whichever you prefer the SH doesn’t as so many people think, stand for Super Heroes.) you are a law enforcement hero and have the run, or flight, of the city, completing missions and gaining various useful rewards.

The game is visual bubblegum. It is comic colour bright and sharp. The action is fun and has the type of fighting and violence as seen in any animated cartoon.

To play go to: www.superherosquad.com and register. It’s free and easy to register and it’s free and easy to play. There is a store where you can buy Gold (up to $149.95 for 19975 gold) Redeem Codes,  buy Armour and other equipment

As you can see from the shots on this page some of the heroes are not always available and pop up for a limited duration only. This is one of the ways the game stays fresh and ever changing and more to the point, fun.

You can play and enjoy the game totally free, but like all of these online games there are areas and stuff you cannot get to unless you subscribe financially. Regular players can become Junior S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. There are 3 payment schemes: $9.95 for 1 month, $49.95 for 6 months and $79.95 for a year.

As a Junior Agent you get 500 Gold a month, exclusivity on some heroes (at the time of writing Magneto, Morbius, Havok and Avenging Rogue are available) and a free spin on the Golden Prize Wheel which can give you up to 130 free Gold a day.

There is regular progression in game and for the game and every so often new challenges are introduced to help sharpen your skills. Definitely one to try out if you like comic action and especially for all MARVEL fans.
