The Good Life Launching Today on Steam

Be Inspired to Live The Good Life with the new Teaser Trailer

Haarlem, The Netherlands – November 21st, 2014 –Publisher Iceberg Interactive and Greek indie developer immersionFX are elated to announce the Steam launch of The Good Life (PC, 2012) after it was Greenlit by the Steam Community earlier this year. The Steam launch features an enhanced edition over the previous retail release, with the addition of Trading Cards and Achievements, as well as graphical updates and new features such as fishing.
Developer immersionFX’s Manolis Tsotros says: “The Good Life is a very laid back sandbox game for people looking for an experience that doesn’t involve shooting and killing, but focuses on the awesome life one could have when living on a tropical island running a small boating company. As a tropical paradise blend of simulation, tycoon and time-management, we strongly feel The Good Life will offer a much welcome escape from the fact that in reality Winter is coming (in our part of the world, at least).
A new teaser trailer is also launched today, revealing the beautiful environments of The Good Life, mixed with famous quotes. The teaser trailer plus new screenshots can be downloaded via this link. The trailer is now also streaming on Iceberg’s Youtube channel here.
The Good Life will become available later today on Steam at an SRP of $9.99 with a 20% launch week discount.
About The Good Life
Like so many, Derek Hales is fed up and is dreaming about ditching the nine-to-five lifestyle. When he learns that his late uncle made him the sole heir of Carpe Diem Boats, a boating company on the tropical complex of the Jo Jo islands, he does not hesitate for a second. A new life awaits! After a long voyage, he and his striking girlfriend Michelle Joyce finally arrive at their destination, enjoying the beautiful sunrise, with a Boating Company of their own. Compared to the dull office life, this new life looks much better. Finally but suddenly, life is good!

I played this game many months ago when it was on DVD release. It is a fun, gentle game but with hard challenges to stay afloat - literally.
It is very pretty and nicely delivered.
