Karlsruhe, 16.07.2014 – the latest update to Gameforge’s anime MMORPG Elsword brings an additional character to the stage. ‘Add’ is probably the craziest hero of them all, and, thanks to his ‘Dynamo Mode’, he is also impossible to predict in battle.
In isolation and lost to the world, Add created the mighty ‘Nasod Dynamo’. This weapon, comprising of the remains of a once all-powerful robot being, puts Add in a position to gather Dynamo points by using his standard attacks, which he then uses to activate the similarly named Dynamo Mode. In this state, Adds skills increase and then rain a true storm of destructive attacks upon his enemies.
This trailer gives an insight into just how much Add is possessed by Eve and how far he is willing to go to reach his goals:
Lunacy and Genius
Add, an incredible inventor and scientist, started a promising career even in his early years – until he broke the taboo of wanting to create Nasod with super-human abilities. His family were killed and Add sold into slavery. In his escape attempt, he stumbled into a forgotten library, where time followed different rules. As he was finally able to break out after years of solitude and study, the world had greatly changed. But Add had also changed...
In a time that was not his own, he hungered for knowledge and power, in the hopes of building a machine that could take him home. In the meantime, he studied the Nasod, in particular Eve, the Nasod Queen, whose perfect codes truly piqued his interest. He searches for her to this day.
The MMO Elsword impresses with its unique mix of 2D side-scrolling and role-play in an anime style. This two gameplay traditions are fused together in Elsword to form a unique and dynamic gaming experience. The exciting story centres around the mythical Eldrit stone, from which the continent of Elios draws its energy. Eight masters protect it; creatures such as the machine-like Nasod even derive their life-force from it. One day, the stone shattered and the pieces were strewn across the entire world. Now the task of uniting the stone once more and ensuring the survival of Elios lies in the hands of the players. In over 50 dungeons, the players must fight their way through an exciting world full of action, magic and adventure. Elsword is already wowing European players in Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Poland.
