Food at UK Games Expo

Hungry? Thirsty?

Stomach rumbles can put you off that all important dice roll. Fortunately, there are multiple options for getting you fed and watered all around UK Games Expo. Most of these are open until mid evening at least. Not sure where to find it all? Check out the big map

Today we are looking at options for food and drink during UKGE.

Chow Street

Chow Street is the new name for the Food Festival in the Hilton Carpark just outside the main lobby.

During UK Games Expo the Hilton Carpark outside the main lounge is transfromed into a Food Festival. All sorts of exotic offerings can be found here.

There are serves artisan hot dogs, waffles, bhajis, award winning toasties, Traditional Greek BBQ, Pan Asian Street Food, Mexican cuisine and home made burgers!

Cook Street at the Lake

New this year is a Street Food area next to the Viking Village near the lake shore at the NEC. This offers fish and chips, pizza, American burgers, pork buns and a bar.

NEC Food Outlets

Inside Hall 1 and Hall 3a there is a Restaurant and a Coffee Bar. Hall1 facilities close whne the trade hall shuts down but the food outlets in Hall3a will remain open till mid evening.

Around the NEC there are other food outlets including a Starbucks, Wetherspoons and a Subways.

Hilton Food Outlets

During UK Games Expo the Hilton Lounge Bar and the Hotel Restaurants will be serving meals. Costas will be open in the lounge. 
There will also be a Real Ale Bar in the Lobby and tuck shops in the Palace and the Kings Foyer.

Gentings Hotel, Crown Plaza and Ibis Styles

The other UKGE Partner hotels offer bars and restaurants offering a full menu. Inquire at the hotels for menus.

Resort World 
Another option for food is Resort World which is close to the Plaza hotel and boasts 15 Bars and Restaurants.

Vegetarian and Vegan Options

There are options for Vegetarian and vegan diets in most of these locations.
