Dear Subscribers,

Thank you for waiting so patiently while we (and many other publishers with links to China) have tried to get a clear picture of how the Coronavirus situation will affect our plans for the year. This is proving to be a major challenge for the games industry as a whole.

We sincerely hope you and your loved ones remain unaffected health-wise, and I am happy to report everyone at Themeborne and our factory is, so far, safe and well.

As I am sure you are aware, large parts of the economic and logistical infrastructure in many areas of the world has been severely disrupted. Even those of us fortunate enough to be personally unaffected will soon start to feel the impact of that in our daily lives and businesses – if not already.

For us, we now have a bit more information to act on and unfortunately it has become clear that due to government-imposed restrictions on working hours and production capacity in China, and staff quarantines, the manufacture of Escape The Dark Sector, as well as the reprint of the Collector's Box, has been delayed severely.

We should all be glad these precautions are being taken, as it is evidently helping to reduce the rate at which the virus is spreading, and it is contributing to the goal of keeping as many people safe as possible.

However, this disruption has had a knock on effect and delayed some of our plans for this year. The situation is still not totally clear, so the most realistic estimate we can give is that the shipment containing both our restocks and the new Kickstarter items will arrive at our distribution hubs in May/June 2020. Needless to say, we are looking for all possible ways to improve that.

We also recently sold out of The Death Book and the Kickstarter Upgrade Kit, and we also expect those back in stock around the same time - May/June 2020.

When we finally have these shipments under our control, which we hope will be in approximately one month from now, we’ll be able to update you all again – and hopefully with a bit more clarity. As ever, our backers and mailing list subscribers will be first to know, so keep your eyes peeled for these updates.

For now, our thoughts are with those whose health or that of loved ones has been affected by the virus, and to all our fans around the world we say ‘stay safe’ - we’ll do what we can to keep the supply of games flowing during these troubled times.

Thank you for your understanding,

The Themeborne Team
