Chris at Games Gazette:
I have used a pair of SENNHEISER HD205 headphones for many years. They are excellent for when I am playing games, listening to music or watching movies and they keep out the majority of outside sounds at their lowest volume level. When playing guitar I plug them into my amp so that I only punish my ears with my playing. They give a full 'surround-sound' experience.

They may have lost a little of their resilience over the years but they are still working and the padding is still in reasonable condition. I have found that the padding on earphones is usually the first to damage over time.
