Edgar Rice Burrough’s John Carter of Mars: Adventures on the Dying World of Barsoom transports you to the Red Planet of Barsoom, an arid, dying land of ancient civilizations and fearsome creatures.

If you love telling pulp-action stories of heroism, adventure and planetary romance, John Carter of Mars will let you take on the role of heroes as you travel, battle, and romance your way across the wondrous and dangerous world of Barsoom.

John Carter of Mars uses a pulp-action inspired variant of the 2d20 System. The unique character creation means that you can create bold heroes that match the likes of John Carter and Dejah Thoris.

A new talents system developed for the game means that characters can create their own talents to shape the skills their hero possess.
The renown system enables players to make their heroic achievements and deeds affect the world of Barsoom on a major scale allowing players and narrators to build a Barsoom unique to them.

Three eras of play mean that you can set your games in any time period, start your campaign alongside John Carters appearance on Mars in the Dotar Sojat era, play through the fall of Issus and Carters disappearance in the Prince of Helium era, or have your heroes step up as the new generation playing in the final Jeddak of Jeddaks era.

With the core rulebook, slipcase set and Phantoms of Mars campaign guide available to help you begin your adventures, and dice, miniatures, the narrators toolkit and the Prince of Helium notebook to really bring your games to life, there’s no reason to wait to jump into this fantastic world.

Additional supplements covering each of the eras are already lined up to supplement your games with even more interesting history, rules, player options and plot seeds.
